It would have been great if it was what was wrong. After installing the computer said it was a problem with the cord. Its an old computer...not worth continuing to spend money to fix it.

Replaced today on my DELL 5567, mechanically perfect, it can be replaced easily and without problems, the duration seems similar to the original one, even if it is too early to say how it will behave in the coming months. The shipping packaging is also excellent, hard case and proof of mistreatment during shipping. ****update**** after almost 3 years of use it still holds a charge quite well.
